We understand that for many business owners, accounting, payroll, and taxes can be a nuisance; it has to be done, but no one wants to do it. Rather than spend countless hours doing it yourself (hours that you could be using to grow your business), we can step in and manage as much or as little of that work as you want. The financial information that we process can also be a powerful tool that helps you determine how best to grow your business, save costs, and so much more. Tax services
Tax return preparation, year-end tax planning, large transaction planning to minimize tax liability, and providing feedback on opportunities for appropriate tax strategies. Tax services are available for businesses, individuals, nonprofits, trusts, and estates.
Bookkeeping
Customized bookkeeping services to match your needs, from performing all tasks related to accounting (like check writing and bill paying, performing reconciliations, Form 1099 preparation, and mailing, etc), to just helping finalize everything at year end (like calculating and recording depreciation), and everything in between.
Payroll
Preparing regularly scheduled payroll, bonus and special payrolls, consulting work to help up set up and run payroll yourself, and/or preparing payroll tax returns.
Financial Statement Preparation
Organizing your accounting information into Financial Statement format. This is frequently required by banks when making or renewing loans for your business. Please note that at this time we are not offering attest services (audit, review, or compilation).
Valuation
Determining the value of a business or ownership interest for buying or selling a business, estate or gift tax returns, succession planning, ESOP plans, buy/sell agreements, or value driven compensation packages.
Jolene Kranz, CPA/ABV, CVA
Jolene is a Certified Public Accountant, Accredited in Business Valuation and a Certified Valuation Analyst. She has over a decade of public accounting experience, with an emphasis in tax planning and preparation, business valuation, and financial reporting, in addition to assisting companies of varying size and business owners with the complete package of accounting needs, including tax-related business planning, year-end tax liability minimization, succession planning, and large transaction planning.
Throughout the years Jolene has worked with owners in many industries, including banking, construction, manufacturing, restaurants, nonprofits, retail, and service industries.
Jolene has been involved with many nonprofit organizations throughout Sioux Falls and currently volunteers on the board of directors for Harmony South Dakota. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, scuba diving, photography, hunting, and golf.
